347WAn inter-departmental working group of officials, which includes a member of the Law Commission, is currently considering the recommendations made in the Law Commission's report Number 237, "Legislating the Criminal Code: Involuntary Manslaughter", which includes the creation of a new offence of corporate killing.
We will consider whether and how to implement the recommendations of the Law Commission in respect of corporate killing once we have received the recommendations of the inter-departmental working group later this year.
