§ Mr. DenhamMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State met with the Royal College of Nursing on 28 January 1999, the Royal College of Midwives on 4 February 1999 and the British Medical Association on 11 May 1999. He also met with the Trades Union Congress health service unions on 16 March 1999 and attended UNISON's conference in Brighton on 28 April 1999.
Ministers regularly meet representatives from trade unions and other professional bodies in a variety of forums to discuss matters of mutual interest.
