To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will publish a national strategy on sexual and reproductive health; and if he will make a statement. [93441]

I announced on 23 March that the Department will, over the coming year, be developing an integrated strategy on sexual health. Professor Michael Adler will, be joining the Department in September to lead work on the strategy and ensure that it is co-ordinated with work on the HIV/AIDS strategy and teenage pregnancy. We will be in a position to announce the membership of the External Reference Group to assist him in this work shortly.
