To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what information is held by the United Kingdom Embassy in Tallinn about the dates of visits by Ministers of other EU countries to Estonia since the enlargement process began; and if he will make a statement. [92685]

Ms Quin

The United Kingdom Embassy in Tallinn does not hold information about the visits of all EU Ministers. However, a list of Heads of State, Head of Government and Foreign Ministers that have visited Estonia since 30 March 1998 has been compiled.

  • April 1998: Irish Prime Minister
  • July 1998: Austrian Foreign Minister
  • January 1998: Danish Foreign Minister
  • The Finns often visit. The most recent was 14 July 1999, when the Finnish Foreign Minister visited.
