§ Ms Glenda JacksonThis level of performance reflects an investment backlog of around £1.2 billion on the Underground, and increased traffic congestion on the roads. This is one of the reasons we have decided to 359W allocate an additional £517 million of resources to London Transport, in addition to the £365 million of extra resources announced last year. This will enable them to deliver real improvements to passengers over the next two years.
