§ Mr. BayleyWe are advised on matters relating to the Industrial Injuries Benefit Scheme, which includes provision for occupational deafness, by the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council. The Council's sub-group, the Occupational Deafness Working Group is currently examining all the criteria for awarding benefit and when their work is concluded the Council will report to us. The timing of the Council's report is a matter for them.
