Letter from Peter Mathison to Mr. Iain Coleman, dated 26 July 1999:
The Secretary of State for Social Security has asked me to reply to your recent question asking how many claims from residents living in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham for (a) Incapacity Benefit (IB), (b) Income Support (IS) and (c) Disability Living Allowance (DLA) were received in each calendar month of this year; how many were (i) agreed and (ii) refused; and if he will make a statement. The information is not available in the format requested. The Benefits Agency (BA) collects IS and IB claim statistics by BA district areas and DLA statistics by Disability Benefit Centre areas.
