HC Deb 26 July 1999 vol 336 c19W
Mr. McGrady

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland following the Judicial Review, in respect of D5's planning application for a shopping development at Sydenham on the Belfast Harbour estate, what plans she has for an investigation into(a) this matter and (b) other planning cases where misleading information may have been given to the Minister for the Environment in advance of a decision. [92297]

Mr. Paul Murphy

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has no plans for an investigation into this matter. The Planning Service will reconsider its advice on the application for planning permission in the light of the Judicial Review decision. The Secretary of State is not aware of any planning cases where misleading information may have been given to the Minister.
