To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to his answer of 3 December 1998,Official Report, column 258, on acquired brain injuries, when the consultation on new guidance will commence; and when it will be completed and published. [92568]

Consultation is currently taking place with the National Health Service and the voluntary sector. It is expected that the guidance will be published in the spring of 2000.
