§ Mr. VazIn accordance with the terms of the Ministerial Code, Ministers are required always to make efficient and cost-effective travel arrangements. Trips in and around London, which account for the majority of my working week, will normally be made by Government Car. Since being appointed Parliamentary Secretary on 17 May I have not had reason to travel by train in the course of my official duties. The Lord Chancellor last used a train on Friday 16 July when he travelled to Cambridge to speak at the Canadian Institute for Advanced Legal Studies Annual Conference.
