To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what progress he is making with the implementation of the Working Families Tax Credit. [91124]

The Working Families Tax Credit will be introduced from October 5 this year, providing much needed assistance to an additional 500,000 low and middle-income families. The Tax Credits Act 1999, which will bring WFTC into existence, received Royal Assent on 30 June.
