To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions what progress he has made with his plans to repeal section 28 of the Local Government Act 1988; and if he will make a statement. [91986]

The Government have made a clear commitment to repeal section 28 of the Local Government Act 1988, and plan to do so as soon as Parliamentary time permits.
