§ Mr. Andrew SmithA revised Framework Document for the Employment Service (ES) will be published on 30 July and copies will be placed in the Library. The document includes the ES' s current Aim and Objectives, new financial arrangements, and arrangements for liaison with Scotland and Wales following devolution.
The next five-year review of the Employment Service will be completed not later than 31 December 2000.
