§ Mr. Boateng11,813 claims have been paid under the Compensation Scheme for small-calibre pistols at a cost of £6,144,557.22. A total of 334 claims remain outstanding under the small-calibre scheme. Given the payments made so far, the estimated value of the remaining claims is in the region of £174,000.
