§ The Lord ChancellorThe consultation document,A Working Paper, Access to Justice—Judicial Case Management, was published by my department in July 1997. It proposed that all claims should be issued using a single claim form. The record of responses show only one out of 92 respondents wished to retain the use of the word "writ".
