§ Ms Estelle MorrisWe have pledged that, by September 2001, no five, six or seven year old will be taught in an infant class of more than 30 children. We have already reduced the number of children taught in such classes by some 130,000 between January 1998 and January 1999. The allocations to date of revenue and capital funding to Bath and North East Somerset and South Gloucestershire are set out in the following table.
