To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many applications were made for British Citizenship by non-British nationals under the age of 18 years in (a) 1995, (b) 1996, (c) 1997 and (d) 1998; and how many such applications have been (i) granted and (ii) refused in each of these years.
