§ Mr. Chris SmithThe Government warmly welcome the report of Policy Action Team 10, set up by the Social Exclusion Unit to look at the contribution arts and sport can make to neighbourhood renewal. The Team was led by my Department and its report shows how participation in the arts and sport can develop individuals' talents and self-confidence, encourage collective effort and contribute to improvements in health and educational achievement284W and reductions in crime and unemployment. The report will be published tomorrow morning and copies will be placed in the Libraries of the House.
