§ Mr. RookerIn the food and drink industry, charges are made for the hygiene inspection of meat, milk production and fish. Where export certification is required, the necessary inspections are paid for by the industry. In addition, the industry also pays for the sampling and analysis of food of animal origin for residues of veterinary medicines, and the agrochemical sector pays part of the cost of the pesticide residue monitoring arrangements.
