§ Mr. DenhamAdditional funding of £4.23 million has been made available to North Essex Health Authority in 1999–2000 from the modernisation fund to help address waiting lists in the trusts in the health authority's area, including the Mid-Essex Hospital Services National Health Service Trust.
Mid-Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust is committed to playing its part and making a contribution to the Government's objective of reducing long out-patients' waits and the health authority's overall waiting list figures.
