§ Mr. HoonThe UK has no responsibility for other Commonwealth citizens in Commonwealth countries. We have no formal obligation to help Commonwealth nationals in foreign countries where they have no representation. By tradition, however, we help where we can. We do not charge for consular protection work, but consular fees are, where appropriate, levied on their nationals.
