§ Mrs. RoeThere are approximately 1,600 television sets within the Parliamentary Estate; buildings used and occupied by Parliamentary or Government employees do not require a television licence for sets used for official purposes. Television sets used for leisure or recreational purposes need to be separately licensed and a multiple licence is held for this throughout the Parliamentary Estate.
