§ Mr. Rooker[holding answer 8 July 1999]: The European Commission would have to submit a formal proposal to the EC Agriculture Council to amend the Council Regulation concerning the common organisation of the market in milk and milk products (Regulation 1255/99 from 1 January 2000). It has not yet done so.
