§ Mr. KilfoyleAppointments made to non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs) are the responsibility of individual Ministers and their departments. However, the Commissioner for Public Appointments collects statistics on appointments to NDPBs within her remit on an annual basis. The Commissioner's fourth report, copies of which have been placed in the Libraries of the House, contains information on appointments made during the year ending 31 March 1999.
