To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions by what means the director of the dedicated executive that will manage the Objective 1 programme in South Yorkshire will be recruited. [90625]

The management arrangements for the Objective 1 programme in South Yorkshire are currently being discussed between the South Yorkshire partners and the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber. These discussions include the role and appointment of the director.
