§ Mr. StrawAll business critical computer systems in the Home Department are expected to be Millennium compliant by September 1999. 83 per cent. of these systems are now compliant, with 95 per cent. due to be compliant by the end of this month. 71 per cent. of non-critical computer systems are now compliant, with the remaining systems due to be compliant by November.
Prison Service, United Kingdom Passport Agency and Forensic Science Service critical computer systems will be compliant by the end of this month, with non-critical systems compliant by August. All Fire Service College computer systems will be compliant by September.
