HC Deb 12 July 1999 vol 335 c33W
Mr. Malin

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many civilians were seconded to the armed forces during the Gulf Crisis; and, of those, how many are known to be suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. [84952]

Mr. Doug Henderson

[pursuant to his reply, 8 June 1999, c. 209]: I regret that some of the information in my answer was incorrect. The last sentence of my answer should have read: As at 26 May 1999, 14 civilian contractors who worked in the Gulf had been seen by MAP physicians. The total number of civilians seen by the MAP at that date was 77.
