asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have any plans to remove from parents their "prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children" (United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, 1948, Article 26, paragraph 4). [HL3469]

The Government have no plans to alter the common law and statutory rights currently enjoyed by parents to choose the kind of education to be given to their children.
