§ Mr. BoatengThe Sex Offences Review has been set up to review the law in England and Wales. Its remit is to recommend clear and coherent sex offences which protect individuals, especially children and the more vulnerable, from abuse and exploitation; to enable abusers to be appropriately punished; and to be fair and nondiscriminatory in accordance with the European Court of Human Rights and the Human Rights Act 1998. The review started in January this year and hopes to report at the end of the year.
