§ Mr. George HowarthI have received a number of letters on this topic. The most recent correspondence is with the legal consultant to the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection. It would be inappropriate to make a statement at this time as the matter may come before the courts and I do not wish to anticipate or prejudice any such proceedings.
