To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what estimate he has made of the costs to his Department of complying with the Working Time Directive in all foreign posts. [89870]

All UK-based staff in overseas posts are subject to the provisions of the Working Time Directive and Regulations. Guidance for staff and managers on their application has been circulated.
