To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) what discussions he has had with representatives of banks and credit card operators about liberalising regulations regarding use of credit cards for e-commerce transactions with internet firms with a limited trading history; [89318]

(2) what discussions he has had with representatives of banks and building societies regarding the raising of existing and the introduction of new charges for over the counter transactions and use of cash dispensing machines. [89317]
