§ Janet AndersonOur proposals for improving the setting and presentation of the Stonehenge World Heritage Site continue to make excellent progress, thanks to co-operation across Government and the support of English Heritage, the National Trust and other interested parties. On 23 April, my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State formally launched both the Master Plan for the site and the marketing process for development of the proposed new visitor centre. On 25 June, my noble Friend, the Minister for Roads announced the preferred route for the A303 improvement scheme, which will remove traffic from the vicinity of the monument.
