§ Angela EagleUnder the Single Work-focused Gateway pilots, payment of benefit to people of working age will be conditional upon attendance at an interview with a personal adviser. Claimants who are refused benefit or who are paid at a reduced rate as a result of their failure to take part in a personal interview without good reason will be able to take their case to an independent appeal tribunal.
