§ Mr. MealeThe Environment Agency and North West Water are working together closely and intensively to raise standards of bathing water quality in the north west. Last year we approved additional works to bring improvements to the Fylde Coast bathing waters. Options for further investment to achieve water quality required for Blue Flag status are being considered as part of the current review of water company price limits form 2000–05.
