§ The Prime MinisterI met the Prime Minister of Bahrain on 5 January 1999.
Our conversation focused on recent events in the region, particularly Iraq. I took the opportunity to thank the Prime Minister for Bahrain's continued practical and political support. Human rights were not raised on this occasion.
