§ Mr. DewarMy noble Friend Lord Macdonald, the Minister with responsibility for business and industry, last met Sir Ian Wood, Chairman of Scottish Enterprise, to discuss the Scottish Enterprise strategy on 4 December 1998. At my request Scottish Enterprise has been reviewing its strategy over the last year. This process has involved extensive public consultation. The new strategy will be launched today. I have placed copies in the House of Commons Library.
