I am replying to your Question to the Secretary of State for Defence about the house search and property seized by the Ministry of Defence Police from Tony Geraghty, as this falls into my area of responsibility as Chief Constable/Chief Executive of the Ministry of Defence Police Agency.Computer files and research material were seized, under warrant, from the home address of Mr. Geraghty, as part of an investigation in connection with alleged offences against the Official Secrets Act. The property seized is currently under evaluation.
