To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office if he will make a statement on the Invest to Save programme. [63740]

This morning my right hon. Friend the Chief Secretary to the Treasury and I announced £120 million of new funding for 33 projects promoting greater responsiveness and efficiency in the delivery of public services. This funding is being provided from the Invest to Save Budget which was set up by the Treasury following the Comprehensive Spending Review.

The projects we announced today are practical examples of what we mean by modernising public services. They demonstrate how our drive for innovative, joined-up and locally responsive government will make life easier for people using public services.
