Mr. Martyn Jones

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the cost was in staff time of the tour organised at RAF Leeming in January as a prize in a fund-raising auction for the British Field Sports Society. [64826]

Mr. Spellar

There were no extra costs associated with this tour. It was a standard station tour, organised and conducted in the normal way by the station Community Relations Officer, and lasted approximately 7 hours. The value of the staff time of the Community Relations Officer and all other personnel that the locally based visitors met will have amounted to less than £100.
