§ Ms Estelle MorrisMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has received representations from concerned schools and parents complaining about the possibility that North Yorkshire County Council may not use all of the £13 million increase in the education SSA to support education. He has no plans to visit North Yorkshire, buthas written to the Leader of the County Council to make it clear that we expect the County Council to set a budget 281W which uses all of the education SSA increase to support education services, especially schools. I understand that the County Council will now do this.
