To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the meetings he has had with trade unions over the last six weeks in his official capacity. [72255]

Over the last six weeks I have met representatives of trade unions on two occasions5 January Trade union side at Bronglais Hospital. During the course of this visit I also met members of the management of Ceredigion NHS Trust, Dyfed Powys Health Authority, and various other representatives. 17 February UNISON about Sully Hospital.

I make it a matter of course to meet trade unions during the industrial visits I undertake, for instance Ford at Bridgend, and BAE and Raytheon at Broughton.

Over the same period, the Under-Secretary, my hon. Friend the Member for Neath (Mr. Hain) has also had two meetings with representatives of trade unions:

  • 1 February
  • Unions at Lucas SE1;
  • 11 February
  • NUT.
