§ Mr. Denham[holding answer 8 February 1999]There are no national rates of pay for adult staff working in the National Health Service at or below the national Minimum Wage level of £3.60 per hour.
Responsibility for implementing the Working Time Regulations is for local National Health Service employers. Information on the cost of implementing the regulations is not available centrally.
