To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions if he will revoke the decision of the Planning Inspectorate with regard to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 section 78 and Schedule 6 appeals by Fats & Proteins (UK) Ltd. application Nos. 97/01177/FUL and 97/01178/FUL. The Secretary of State uses his powers to revoke planning permission only in exceptional circumstances. These particular planning decisions were reached only after a public inquiry had been held to examine the appeals.
