§ Ms Glenda JacksonWe have received very few representations on this matter. Bus services specifically designed to convey only pupils to school, rather than the general public, are not eligible for fuel duty rebate. However, services provided or secured by a local education authority are eligible for rebate providing that seats on the vehicles concerned are normally available to members of the general public and are regularly used by them.
