To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment what steps he is taking to compensate future pensioners of the Astra pension scheme for their loss of benefits. [70757]

§ Mr. Mudie
The Department continues to press the Astra liquidators and the pension fund trustees to ensure that future pensioners suffer no loss of benefits. Current pensioners are already receiving their full entitlements.
