To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment how many students are(a) currently taking a postgraduate certificate in education in design technology and (b) in their fourth year of a B.Ed design technology course. [70442]

The following table shows registrations to design and technology postgraduate initial teacher training in England in 1998–99. Information on registrations to the fourth year of an undergraduate design and technology initial teacher training course in 1998–99 is not available.
