§ Ms Glenda JacksonExpenditure on fuel duty rebate for Great Britain as a whole is expected to be £270 million in the current financial year. Expenditure in future years will depend on the total of fuel consumed in operating eligible routes for which bus operators make claims for rebate, and on decisions still to be taken on the proportion of duty paid to be rebated in each year.
