§ Mr. Gorrie
To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what proposals he has to phase out visiting specialist teachers in primary schools and replace them with consultants. [69735]

§ Mrs. Liddell
We have no such proposals. The deployment of teachers in primary schools is a matter for education authorities.
As from 1 July this will be a matter for the Scottish Parliament.
