§ Angela EagleA large-scale research programme to evaluate Jobseeker's Allowance is being conducted and will conclude later this year. The findings from that programme will enable us to consider what changes might need to be made. In the meantime, we will consider changes to Jobseeker' s Allowance where problems occur or when a reason for amendment is identified.

§ Angela EagleWe have received a number of letters on this matter. Since it came to our attention we have been working to simplify the complex legislation in this area. We are currently considering proposals for changes to the relevant benefit rules.
